The stuff dreams are made of..

Clean & Clear Advantage:  This life saver is a 2% Salicylic acid, Oil-Free gel, and only about $7 at the drugstore.

Come home a bit sauced (or to someone's home) last night, and passed out face first with your make-up still on, did ya?  And now you have a glowing, red monster on your face to prove it.  Don't worry, there is help for that baby.
Earlier this week I awoke to this horror.  Not the worst, but oh not so pretty.  I used Clean & Clear Advantage, acne spot treatment, right after I got out of the shower that morning.  I made sure to ex-foliate that morning first.  You can use the gel up to 3 times in a day, but I didn't want to dry out the skin around the blemish, so I only applied it in the morning.

24 hours later..  Gone!  This is a fast pimple fighter that works.
(No makeup, promise.)

And if you're waking up in someone else's bed.. Well, there is a quick trick for that too.  My first move would be to ran-sack their bathroom, who does't have some kind of zit killer around?  If the only goodies you found were an old retainer, and a prescription for a rash you didn't know about, don't lose hope.  Dot it with a tiny bit of toothpaste, then wipe it with a wet piece of tissue.  You want to make sure you can feel the cooling of the mint, but can't see a white crust on your face when it drys.

Good morning clear chin.

"Winning" the battle on clogged pores and stress induced breakouts......

Charlie would really be "winning" if he took better care of his body.  Get some sleep dude, sheesh!

After a long week of work, I need to have my "down time."  While rest is vital, so is giving your skin it's dose of vitamins that people often overlook.  Sometimes I don't move off of the couch and other times I'm cleaning and organizing.  No matter what I decide to do, there is always an at-home spa treatment involved.  Nights like these are perfect because you can wear a green clay mask or put Extra Virgin Coconut Oil in your hair without letting anyone see how crazy you look.  I'm going to show you tips on how to give yourself a mini facial without breaking the bank.

So, I often buy several different brands of beauty products and can never decide which ones to use.  When it comes to clay masks, I like to mix them.  This week, I used FREEMAN's and Lumene's versions of the "clay mask."  The Lumene mask contains arctic peat while Freeman's has avocado and oatmeal.  I feel like the different ingredients worked like magic together but didn't notice that my pores were completely clean until I used toner afterwards. Warning: People with dry/ sensitive skin, don't try this at home because it can be very drying.  Having normal skin, I still used a higher end under-eye wrinkle cream and moisturizing night cream.

FREEMAN's masks can be bought at drugstores for around $4....
(check out all of their different products made with yummy fruits and veggies!)

Lumene ARCTIC TOUCH can be found at CVS, Target, and ULTA for around $10...
(every product I have used by Lumene has given noticeable changes to my skin but is a bit higher in price)
***Stay tuned for more posts about Lumene....their new product line features Stem Cell innovation which might have to be a splurge for me in the near future!***

Maintaining a healthy mind, body, and spirit is essential when trying to de-stress in this crazy world!  You might ask, "How is doing a microdermabrasion treatment going to make things better with my presentation I have to give on Friday?"  Well, it definitely won't draw your pie charts for you, but can give you a big enough confidence boost to make you nail it!  Doing these very regimens can nip acne in the bud and provide a more youthful look which will improve your quality of life...And to me, THAT is winning!!!!!!!!
